Disclaimer & Collar Use

We test all of our pet products on our own pets and would never ship out items we would not use ourselves. We classify our collars as fashion collars and while they are sturdy and perfect for everyday use, we do not recommend them for overly-aggressive pets. With that being said, every cat and dog is different and it is your responsibility to know what is right for your pet.

While we stand by the quality of our collars and use them on our own cats and dogs, we do not recommend using them as your only restraint when walking your dog or cat. Our collars are in the fashion collar category and are not recommended for pullers or heavy-duty use. We highly recommend using a harness as the primary restraint when walking your dog or cat.

We have provided videos on our Collar Care page for correctly sizing your collar. It is your responsibility to view these videos and correctly size your collar to your pet. It is also your responsibility to correctly use and secure strap keepers if you have a kitten collar or upgraded cat collar. Placement of the strap keeper next to the buckle is very important for safety and effectiveness of the strap keeper. Please reach out to us if you need assistance with sizing your collar.  Always supervise your pet when wearing any collar. Inspect collar before wear. For your pet's safety never use a collar that has been chewed or shows signs of damage, fraying or excessive wear. User assumes all liability for the proper use of the collar.
